MOREWILD is an extended, immersive safari, and each experience has unique rhythms and requirements. The questions and answers provided here reflect our commitment to safety, comfort, and purposeful engagement, helping you prepare for a journey that is transformative, intentional, and deeply connected to Africa’s wild places.


  • Who can join MOREWILD?

    Our experiences welcome adults of all ages. All participants must be at least 18 years old. Guests should have reasonable fitness levels to enjoy walking, hiking, and active participation in outdoor activities.

  • What's included and what isn't?

    Here's what's included:


    • Airport transfers
    • Accommodation at Kariega Homestead
    • Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
    • Tea, coffee and water and selected alchoholic beneverages
    • Scheduled activities and excursions with specialists

    Here's what's excluded:


    • Flights
    • Premium spirits
    • Activities not included in the scheduled programme
    • Items of a personal nature

  • How long is the experience?

    Each experience lasts for 10 days.

  • When does the experience run?

    The confirmed dates for 2026 are:


    29 July to 7 August

    22 August to 1 September

  • Where does the experience take place?

    MOREWILD is based in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, on Kariega Game Reserve, where two global biodiversity hotspots converge. The location is malaria-free, and arrival and departure are via Port Elizabeth. 

  • What is the group size?

    We limit each experience to a maximum of 14 guests per group. This ensures a personalised, immersive experience and allows for meaningful engagement with the land, wildlife, and local communities.

  • Do I need insurance?

    Yes. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all participants. This ensures safety and peace of mind during activities and excursions.


  • What should I pack?

    Guests receive a detailed pre-departure guide covering clothing, equipment, and essential items to make the most of their stay. Comfortable, practical clothing for outdoor activity and weather-appropriate gear is recommended.

  • What level of involvement is expected?

    Guests are encouraged to fully engage with all scheduled activities.
